I am not originally from the Puget Sound Region. I have created this map as a way to show the area of the Puget Sound Region that I now call home. This map was created using ArcMap 10.3.1 with data derived from the Pierce County Open GeoSpatial Data Portal. In this map you will see that the city of Tacoma is surrounded by other Puget Sound cities, like Lakewood, Fife, and University Place allowing for a better insight as to where Tacoma is in relation to other cities. The City of Tacoma is also labled with the different sections that can be found throughout the city. I have aslo included libraries, parks, and schools witin the Tacoma area because those are the areas that I tend to spend most of my time at.
